Effective Dec. 1, 2007, StoneL implemented new model numbers for the Quartz (QZ_ series) and Eclipse (EC_ series) product platforms.  In addition, the SolaR platform (SR series) was replaced with the Quartz General Purpose (QG) and the Onyx (ON) was replaced with the Axiom (AMI).

 

Eclipse (ECN or ECG) If the model number starts with ECN or ECG, it is an Eclipse.

Change the “Series” model prefix ECN to EN

Change the “Series” model prefix ECG to EG

The “Sensor/Communication” option remains the same (33, 44, 96, etc.) but is referred to as “Function”

The “Enclosure” option is new

            In the EN series, specify “C” for North America and “D” for International

The “Conduit/Connector” option (02, 11, etc.) remains the same

The “Visual Indicator” option remains the same (R, F, 1, 2, etc.) and the character “A” is added

Quartz (QZ)   If the model number starts with QZM, QZP, QZE or QZI,  it is a Quartz.

The QX series is Explosion Proof with Sensors/Switches (Proximity, VCT, Mechanical, and Expeditor type) and an Aluminum Cover

The QN series is Nonincendive & Intrinsically Safe with Sensors/Switches (Proximity, VCT, Expeditor, and IS type) and a Clear Cover

The QG series is General Purpose with Mechanical switches and a Clear Cover
