New FieldLink® Bus Reference Manual And Product Catalog Available From StoneL

FERGUS FALLS, MN (July 31, 2002) – StoneL, the leader in process networking and valve communication, is now offering a new FieldLink® Bus Reference Manual and Product Catalog. The manual is a complete reference guide containing a full range of information regarding bus networking descriptions, protocol comparisons, hazardous area bus standards and protection concepts, as well as all associated StoneL products and services, required by process end users to design and build optimized bus networking systems for their plants regardless of the process application or environment.

The FieldLink products described in the manual are used throughout the process industries to seamlessly and reliably interconnect process instrumentation into the plant's control architecture with proven standardized bus protocols such as Foundation Fieldbus, AS-Interface, DeviceNet and Modbus. Most importantly, FieldLink components and networking services provide optimized bus performance and reliability as well as system migration flexibility in corrosive and hazardous process environments.
